Tom Mason

I am an ecologist interested in how wild animal populations are influenced by anthropogenic environmental change and how an understanding of these effects can inform wildlife management. My research spans animal behaviour, population ecology and conservation. For my current project, I am using socio-ecological approaches to investigate drivers of and solutions to conflict between increasing populations of migratory geese and agriculture on Scottish islands.
